Text link ads are generally priced at a flat monthly rate. Text link ads may vary in price based on the following factors.

• The higher the traffic on the site you are advertising on, the higher the price.
• The more number of pages your link will appear on, the more you would have to pay. It is common to pay twice as much per month for a site wide text link ad (text link ad in multiple pages of the same website) versus a single page text link ad.
• If the link is placed on the homepage, it is generally higher priced than a sub-page link, because a homepage ranks higher in terms of traffic and link popularity.
• The higher the PageRank (Ranking based on link popularity & other factors) of the web page, the higher is the price.
• High PageRank does not always equal high value. It is much more important to have a link from a page with many unique domains linking to it and closer to your theme.
• Some themes are more exclusive and of better utility value therefore making it more valuable ie. Tour & Travel, Coupons, Yellow Pages, etc.
• The number of other text link advertisements on the page should not be more than 25 and the fewer the number of outbound links, the better.
• The position of the text link ad on the web page if “on first screen” (without having to scroll down) is more likely to be seen and clicked on and therefore is higher priced than those near the footer of the web page.
